Trucks are one of the most crucial components of your skateboard. They are the metallic mounts that connect the tire to the wheels and provide stability and maneuverability while riding. Truck Size and Width

Trucks come in different widths to fit different tire sizes. In general, the width of the trucks should match the width of the tire as closely as possible for optimal performance. Here is a simple guide to choosing the right trucks based on deck width:

• Deck width 7.5" – 8.0" : Choose trucks that are 5.0" – 5.25" wide.
• Deck width 8.0" – 8.5" : Choose trucks that are 5.25" – 5.5" wide.
• Deck width over 8.5" : Choose trucks that are 5.5" – 6.0" wide.

Having the right size of the trucks provides better balance and stability, especially during difficult tricks and landings.

Materials and Construction

Most forklifts are made of aluminum due to its strength and light weight. There are also trucks with a higher grade of aluminum that offers more durability and better performance during long trips. In addition, some trucks may have a magnesium alloy for even more weight reduction without compromising strength.

Adjustability and Response

Forklifts can be adjusted to suit your driving style. By adjusting the screws on the trucks, you can control how stiff or soft they react to your movements.
